Our International Summer Academy for Contemporary Music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater is a partner in the European Cultural Network Ulysses, which is being funded by the EU between 2016 and 2020. So the EU-funding, which the Hochschule received between 2012 – 2015 for
the Summer Academy has been prolonged for four years. The Summer Academy 2018 receives funding from Creative Europe as well as from the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung, the Gerhard Trede-Stiftung and the Hamburger Behörde für Kultur und
Medien. We thank our partners for their support!
The Academy of Music and Theatre Hamburg is part of the European Network Ulysses and receives financial support in the amount of € 164,000 in order to promote young creative talents from 2016 - 2020. The EU funding, which the university received from 2012 - 2015 for the summer academy has been extended for a period of four more years. The grant application was prepared by the "Institut für kulturelle Innovationsforschung", which created the concept for the foundation of today renowned summer academy for contemporary music in 2001. The Academy is financially supported by the EU Programme "Creative Europe", the Franco-German Youth Office, Opus XXI France, the Gerhard Trede Foundation, Impuls neue Musik and the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung.
